Paint for plow?

I'm slowly working on my '73, trying to get it fixed up.  (Can't go to fast with no $)  I was planning to shoot the truck in a SS ( I've read, NO tractor paint!), and chassis saver on the frame and bottom of the cab.  What about the plow?

Rust isn't bad on the push plates, but if I'm going to the effort to make this rig respectable again what should I use on the plow gear?

Mind you, this might be a DD, or it will just sit for the weekend Home Depot trips.  I haven't decided yet.

I would use Chassis Saver, then top coat it with a cheap acrylic enamel equipment paint.

Thank you kind sir, I was hoping you would chime in.

Does this go for the blade also?  I was debating this thinking of future repairs.  ie, How tough is it to clean up Chassis Saver when I have to chase cracks?

It grinds off like any other paint would.
