transmission swap for hot rod

hey i have a 1954 international r110 pickup body sitting on a 81 chevy frame with a 350.

i am planning on putting in a 5 speed tranny in but they have the electric speed sensor

does anyone know where i can find a converter to make it have a cable drive to my speedometer?

Are you talking about a NV4500 5 speed?  You should be able to get the company you are getting it from to make it mechanical.  Here is one place:

it is a MTGM006 getrag pickup 5 speed. would those dodge adapters work in a chevy?

That is a NV3500, Call these guys and see if they have a electronic to mechanical adapter.  http://www.keislerauto.com
