hello yall
« on: June 27, 2008, 07:27:10 pm »
well, I've been lurking here for quite a while...figured i'd go ahead and say hi...

my name's Chuck and I have an 84 C10 2wd shortbed with a 6.2 diesel and 700r4...i'd post some pics, but I haven't taken any yet...this is my third C10...

anyways, a little about the truck...it's a two-tone baby blue with a white stripe with very few rust spots except the hood which is toasty brown...it's got the diesel and 700r4 like I said and it has the injection pump turned up some and it also has 3.42 gears in the rearend...it's a silverado...I bought it from a friend of mine for a song...it also has cold a/c which I've never been in one that had working a/c...I love this truck...my dad also has a C10...anyways, plans right now are to get the interior right...I'm the manager at an upholstery shop and I have to have my stuff right...talking about the interior, does anyone know where I can get the headliner trim for my truck.  the holes are there, just no trim...I'll get some pics of the truck tomorrow and post them to share with yall...

later..

Chuck.

Hi Chuck . Welcome, from Tennessee.  Did you mean 6.2 diesel? Do you run biodiesel in it? I looked for a long time before I could find the same color of interior trim. It usually sells for at least $70 or more. Good find Hotrod!

I did mean 6.2 diesel...and I don't at the moment run biodiesel in my truck, but I will be shortly...I have an oil source and a 50 gallon water heater...just need to acquire the remaining parts so I can build the biodiesel reactor...

and thanks everyone for the warm welcome...:D
