sliding glass window

ok i have tryed to put my window back in but it want go in so how do i use the string? and where do i start i was using a screw driver to do it and that did not work.
1980 1/2 ton shortbed project...
1978 pontiac grand prix...

Wrap the seal around the window, set the bottom on top of the opening and seat the seal, push it up to the window and get the corners in.  Wrap the rope from one side to the other, have someone on the outside push it in and pull on the rope.

ok i been working on the rust for the window but i can not get in the corners with nothing what would be a good thing to use could i use a sand blaster
