Blazin, I've had over half of those in model cars over the years and dreamed of having them, what an awsome choice of rides.

That one is awesome. There is one up the road about 120 miles, it's a 78 but I would love to have it.

Trans Am's are fun, I've had a few through the years; 76 400 4sp Firethorne red, 71 455HO auto Lucerne Blue, 2002 Firehawk 6sp 1LE. The black 78 looks like a good start for a nice car. Kind of odd it has the Hurst T-Tops versus the Fisher as most 78 did. Maybe I'll get another one some day.

I never cared for the Hurst tops, they are to narrow, the T bar is to wide. I had an 80 Camaro with the Fisher units, they sealed better and rattled less than my buddies 80 Trans Am with the Hurst tops.

I still have all my model cars. I have about 50 of them, and maybe ten are finished. I could never leave well enough alone. I always modified them! I bought 2 pulling tractor models once for the rear tires for a 4x4 truck, and the engines to put in other models.

My preference in order would be the Fisher, Hurst and then the Cars & Concepts. The T-tops are nice, but you sure lose the structural strength and risk the chance of a tweaked roof. I had a set of Sub-frame connectors on the 71 T/A and you could jack the car up with a floor jack and put it on 3 jack stands, talk about a stiff/solid chassis. Wish I still had that one, oh-well.
