How can I tell if my '73 doors are GM? Is there a stamp?

Thanks, but just because they fit gives no indication that they were manufactured by General Motors. Acme doors made to fit a 1973 Chevrolet truck are not "GM doors".

doors are one of the panels that the aftermarkets either fit and look IDENTICAL to OEM doors, with absolutely NO way to tell ANY difference WHATSOEVER..or they fit like garbage and are way too lightweight..

Generally there is a stamping on the door somewhere if it is a GM door, but it will only say GM (from the ones i have seen) I haven't ever seen one in the same place, and some I know were original, I never found it on.  The aftermarket ones are about the same.  As for fit, the factory ones will have to be tweeked to fit, UNLESS it came on the truck you are working on, and even then the fit won't be perfect.
