Hey guys,is there any big upgrade from a edelbrock performer intake on a chevy 350,lookin to increase low end torque,1000-3500rpm range,just curious if there is a nice upgrade from the edlebrock i got,its going on a 1973 3/4 ton 4x4,350,sm465,

Probably not a whole lot, plus you'll pick up a lot more heat and may encounter vaporlock. Do you already have an edelbrock intake or do you mean the carburetor?

Any big upgrades will just move the powerband up higher in RPM and sacrifice more low end torque. If you're using a Q-jet and you want to keep using it. The Edelbrock 7104 Is the performer RPM Q-jet dual plane highrise intake would work pretty well. if you're using a squarebore carburetor (ex: Holley, Edelbrock). Then the 7101 Will work fine. Edelbrock says their powerband is 1500-6500.
