Holley Street Dominator Intake
« on: August 16, 2008, 11:13:20 pm »
Hey, back in February when I got my C20 crew, it came with a bunch of extra parts.  One of those was this intake manifold.

Having a little trouble identifying the actual model, but, more importantly, if it will fit my 454.  On the underside are some numbers:  300-3, 701R-3.

Here are some pics, can anyone help with some specs?

Are you sure it's 300-3? There is no listing on the Holley site for that.

Yeah, I know - ran into that on the Holley site, and Jegs and Summit, no luck.  Only thing I have to go by is the numbers on the underside (in the third photo).

Didn't even look at the third pic :-\. It might be an older model that they did a running change to. I had an Edelbrock Torker 2 (older one) and it looked different from the ones they have now.

That intake has NO  business on a 3/4 ton crew cab truck! The tall plenum, single plane design is more for mid-high RPM use. Swap meet material! Either use a stock dual plane or buy a aftermarket dual plane & preferrably a good working Q-jet. Lorne

Hi Lorne,

Yeah, this definitely seems to be the prevailing wisdom.  Auction fodder. :)

Thanks to everyone for the feedback!
