Rear Question
«

Hey guys, it's been a while. I had to get away from this project for a while - getting way to overwhelmed. Now that I am recharged........I have a question. Take a look at the following pictures - does this rear have positraction?
I know it is a 2.73:1 ratio. Will this be able to pull say a 3000lb boat or should I change out the rear end?
Thanks for the help - it feels good to be back

That is a gov-loc BTW, a Eaton for a 12bolt will have springs on both sides.
This is the best pic I have:

This is great - we should have an archive of pictures to show the different rears and the differences in each. This is a huge help to me.
How about it guys (and gals) post your rear end pictures!!
Now get your minds out of the gutter - I don't want to see any mans butt
