Idea !!   buy the wife a truck of her own and let her pick the color for IT.  ;D ;)

Everybodys happy !
Ahhhh Very True Mark, ofcourse she would still have a say in my truck, as she was the one who bought it for me as a present(atleast that's what she tells me) :-X

She has seen Blue Metallic trucks like mine, and she has said that I can paint it a Metallic Blue, but My Favorite Electric/Bonzai Blue isn't heavily Flaked like she likes.....   Lately she has been talking about getting her Denali/Escalade, so that might sidetrack her enough, but I'm not going to turn myself "Blue" waiting(Not Gunna Hold My Breath) :o.....

Any New pics yet ccz145a???

LOL Yeah I bout fell over while I was behind the wheel when she told me....  Her Father had it for a few months, and I would drool on it everytime I saw it......  Never expected it would be mine, then BAM she hit me over the head with it , but I still think it's a Dream at times:o   Yeah I'm still wondering when the medication she must be taking will wear off, and she'll wake up :-\
Thanks, and I'm Kinda back and forth between all Black and some hints of Red Metallic, or Black with hints of Blue Metallic (I like Ol' Skool Kustoms, but it may be awhile before I will own one of those, so why not Fuse my Auto Style Passions)....

Looks awesome man! Nothing like the thrill of getting it back from the body shop all new and shiney eh?

Dragon, metallic black rocks. I had my 81 2wd Jimmy painted metallic black back in 93. It looked so beautiful. The top I had done in GM Slate and the metallic black was some combo the paint shop made it up. It had all kinds of color metallic in it. Looked dark charcoal in the sun and then black anytime else. A really nice OEM metallic black I like is Chrysler Brilliant Black. Lots of metallic for an OEM paint.

Holy crap!  That looks positively awesome!  Can't wait to see what you do with the interior.  I'm probably going to paint my '73 in the next year or two and I'm really liking the Hawaiian blue and white combo for it.

More pics!  More pics!
