You could weld, but the holes are there and you could use grade 8 bolts.

Well Vile your link was great and the price was good too but when I contacted them to order the parts they said the were discontinued!
I stopped by a friends shop a couple days ago and showed him my truck. He didn't think it would be that hard to fab up some new frame mounts. Of course he has a steel fabricating shop and has done this kind of work in all kinds of metal for 25 years so if he says its no problem I will believe him
As he likes to say "We have the tools". I am going to show him the pics of the part so he can see the recess where the rubber piece goes. Should be interesting to see him do it. Of course my job is just to hold stuff, pass the beer and stay out of the way.
He is going out of town this week so I will hook up with him next week and get er done.
