Hello from the Home of the Florida Gators
« on: September 25, 2008, 11:32:58 am »
My name is Levis Johnson and I live in Gainesville, FL.  I had 2 dream trucks...a brand new crew cab short bed 4x4 and a classic 81-87 regular cab short bed 4x4. I can afford the payment on a new one but I don't want to spend the 50k on the exact options that I want, but I don't like the newer body styles.  I started looking for my classic...not thinking about my growing family.  So I started thinking...why not have exactly what I want...a classic and a crew cab.  I have not found my truck yet but I want an 81-87 crew cab short bed 4x4 (even if I have to do the mods myself).  It will be for everyday driving and will not have overly large tires.  Looking to make it my own (shave handles, one piece windows, TBI, DVD headrests for the kids, etc.)

Welcome from New Hampshaa!
Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

I know, I know , I know...probably even more since the game a few weeks ago.  At least we can agree on older trucks.  As far as the Burbs...I am just not interested...plus my wife says it doesn't fit me, I tend to agree with her.
