"new" Bed
« on: September 28, 2008, 08:46:18 am »
I was walking in our woods and noticed this in our neighbors yard

I talked to him and he said I can have it just cant figure out how..

I was thinking of cutting part of the bed off of my donor truck and welding a piece of square tubing to the top then using the come along to drag it to the bed not sure how well that would work

any other ideas?

I have finally been released from the honey do list (for a few weekends anyway) and I dont know where to restart on my project

If anyone is interested this was my honey to do list for the summer :)

Sorry, I don't see your vision.

What equipment do you have at your disposal? Might get some wheels on it and tow it out.

I got a welder a K15 Pickup (the bed is trashed) and a K5 blazer my thinking if I cut the side of the bed off at the back of the tire then put a piece of square tubing across the bed hook the come along there then crank the flat bed up towards the donor bed . It will be tight getting a truck back there just throwing ideas at it right now.

My other thought is to throw my engine crane in the bed and strapping it in and pick it up like a tow truck could

If your truck can get close enough throw a chain and see if you can pull it out of the woods and make it easierfor ya to move it.

thanks
