Filling the seams

For those of you that have filled the cab seams, what is the process? Do you use the metal filler or is it a weld job? I'm fixing to pull the cab in a few weeks and get started on it over the winter.

I tried searching but did not come up with much.

The correct way to fill a seam is weld it.

Ditto! One area of concern is allot of time, the metal just to the side of the seam is mis-aligned or the whole seam area is high compared to the surrounding metal. This adds greatly to the work needed to make the job look correct. Have fun & post some photos! Lorne

All I've got is time on the ol girl...lol

It will be a while before I start on it but I will do pics. I got the doors stripped down today and ready for shaving :)

Plastic fillers and fiberglass will crack in about 2 months or less.  Don't ask how I know that..  ::)
