oem diffirentials

i got a 78 chevy k10 scottsdale. im trying to figure out if my front and rear diffs. are limited slip or standard open diff. i know i have a dana 44 in front and a 10 bolt 3.07 in the rear. the tuck has all time 4 wheel drive if that matters. does anyone know.

Being a 78 it should be a 12 bolt rear. Jack it up, spin one wheel, if the other turns the same direction its most likely limited slip. All the Chevy trucks I have had I have never seen a factory front limited slip. Not to say they don't exist.

GM from all the documentation and all the trucks I have working on, see or otherwise NEVER came with anything except an open front differential.
If the above test Blazin pointed out doesn't work ( an the truck has the G80 listed in the option sheet) it could be worn out enough to not work,  If that is the case you have to pull the cover off to tell...
