gage installation

Man, I need help bad, my son just bought a 83' c-10 and it needs new gages....
I would like to place them in the dash as  the original but, I want some Auto Meter gages....What diameter should we purchase?

Man, that looks neat but, WAY out of my skill level.....I just want something that I can just stick in(I REALLY don't want to go to  ) and it will be ok.....Will 2 1/16" gages work?

If you're not totally set on autometer, you could also go with Dakota Digital gauges, you don't have to hack up your bezel and Chris sells them here for the cheapest on the web.
