86 k10 project

well i started this 3 years ago and so far heres where im at.

when i first got it



gm 350 crate motor that previous owner put in


what the motor looks like as of now. Holley 600cfm four barell, edelbrock performer rpm intake, hooker headers, jegs 8.0 plug wires, jegs 4" filter, k&n substack.


and the truck now, i will be starting paint this week

wow thats a nice start whats your plans with your truck and keep us posted with pics and any cool ideas you come up with

well when its done i want a good reliable truck with some good power. It will be my daily, and i want to go wheeling with my buddies too, and maybe even race the local hill climb. Heres what i have and what i plan on when its all done.

Engine:

10bolt front
12 bolt rear
3.08 gears

4 8" kicker subs
2 600 speakers

So thats it i still have a LOT to do but i want to get it on the road for now and keep doing the rest of the stuff. Ill post some progress pics in a minute.

can't wait to see some pics when you start putting it back together....
1982 Shortbed K10 Silverado.  305 ci with a mild cam, full true dual exhaust (Long tube headers, "H" pipe, and Thrush Turbo mufflers.  4x4, and otherwise completely stock.  about 153,000 miles.
