A lot of us have for one reason or another. I relocated my resistor, relay and all of the associated wiring into the cab. I used an AC delete box.

Sorry to bring up an old post, but figure it would be better to add to one rather than start a new one.
Anyways, I got my AC delete box and its all mocked up, ready to install. I will probably just mount the relay on the firewall, but Im not sure what to do with the resistor. I dont know if I want to get a non ac resistor or just use the one I have. I also havent figured out where I want to mount it. I dont think the box is thick enough (as in overall dimension, not thickness of the fiberglass) to mount it the way it was before because the resistors are pretty long. I would love to see some pics of what you have done or at least a good description. I have searched and wasnt able to find anything. After Im done, Ill post pics to help others out in the future.

I mounted mine on the inside in the top of the case. Just be careful that it doesn't touch anything like the heater core. I'd also be very careful if you get leaves and debris in your cowl, as if anything touches it it can easily ignite.

Your talking about the interior side? The box that has the vent cables?
What did you do with the two holes the core tubes fit through? It was all sealed up before with sealant, but now the holes are fully exposed since the AC delete routes under them. I wouldnt be too worried about it, but there is that angled lip that aims straight for them that will pour water in that area.
