I have an 87 R10 chevy 305, 4speed with a posi in the rear that I bought off of my dad that I have bean trying to get runing and went to take it for a test drive and found out that a coon or something chewed a hole in the flex/ braded metal gas lines that run up the back of the motor next to the trans up to the throdle body. my local parts stores do not have them.I probably can get one from a junk yard, buti would prefer new ones.

You have 2 options that I know of... New ones from the dealer or have some made from a hose place.

I found a set by googling the OEM #'s but I also made a set. If you go to a decent autoparts store they should have fuel injection line repair hose and fittings.

Are you sure you have them sealed and they are not sucking in air ?

think that i figured out why it is surging, found out that the o2 sednsor is snaper off. just scored two runing and drivable trucks for 900 bucks, an 85 c20 custom with a new rebuilt 350 and an 89 gmc 1500 and just sold my rusted out old 80 c10 for 1500.
