short bed pricing

can anyone tell me what good short bed would cost me for my 86 and does anyone have one just  checking if not what about bed sides

What do you consider a good price? I just bought a brand new short bed piece by piece. If all you need is sides they're about $250 a piece.

I can only say longbeds from the south in the midwest fetch $600-800

I found a bed on ebay for 250 dollars - little rust.  I would not go the route of bed sides unless you can go and pick them up.  They will be damaged in shipping.

If you can, try and find a southern bed.  You can also try, http://www.rustfreeparts.com/index.asp

Good luck - I had to go through this.
