I had an idea to get most of the fluid from my th400, just wonder if anyone tried it.  I was thinking about disconnecting the tranny lines, and installing some small steel to rubber lines.  1 would go in a clean bucket of dex3 the other in a dirty bucket.   If needed I have an inline fluid pump that I can use to help with.  Then drop the pan and do a filter.

If you have never done this before, you can easily make a big mess if you aren't careful....  I would suggest a good Siphoning Pump(Found at any Auto Parts/Hardware/Pet Supply Store) placed down the Trans Dipstick/Filler tube...

It's a 6ft Total Hose, but just check it will fit down the tube, or you may need a smalled Diameter Hose(Make sure it is Oil Resistant) found at any well stocked Hardware Store....

A Rinsed Out Plastic Gallon Milk Jug will make a decent fluid carrier, so long as the fluid is not hot....

I usually just drill with a magnet against the drill bit a hole in the torque converter. Then tap it for a pipe plug.

Flushing is unecessary unless the system is contaminated. Periodic drain and fill with a filter change is all you need to do.
