trans problem

Hi,my 1983 gmc 3/4 ton 4 speed trans pop's out of 3rd gear need help.

All the time or on Decel?  If the later it needs new syncros.

Which trans do you have? If it's a manual trans you'd need to get parts as required.

if it is a 465 3rd and 4 have snap rings used as spacers the snap rings get weak and bam  they make a bushing to replace the snap rings. but you get new snap rings in your rebuild kit i also would call novak and see if they have that bushing.
