« on: July 14, 2009, 10:06:09 am »
I just went muddin last night in my 87 crew cab 1 ton. I hit a mud pit about  2-3 feet deep I hit it kind of fast and it just died. I try to crank it but it did not turn over. We pulled in out and tryed to crank it was shooting water out my no cats cherry bomb glass packs. We pull up a hill and tryed to it the water to come out. after 15-20 trying to crank it. It started. The point I'm writeing this my trucks not running right. My glass packs don't sound right at all. There is a loud sound when get on gas( motor I think) and it's idleing pretty high . If you can help me it would be great if you need more detail let know thank u so much

Pull all the plugs and crank it over. then do a compression test.

It will get all the water out of the cylinders!
Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

if you have water in your cylinders, might you want to change the oil too?

If you are driving the truck there won't be any water in the motor other than the coolant.
Did you check your oil? do a compression test?
You could very well hydro-loc a motor with water in the cylinder and bend a rod.
