I found a front nose to buy and pilfer for my truck. It's from an 89-91 GMC Suburban, 3/4 ton 4x4 SLT model (top one I believe, it seems to have been pretty loaded). I don't know the exact year but I saw a few interesting things that I thought you guys could answer:
- headlight buckets are chrome around the perimeter but dark grey in the middle including the area between the headlights and parklights. I've seen another GMC Sub in town that had this whole area chromed, like on the Chevys. What is correct? This front end looks bone stock so maybe they changed it someway through or the one I saw in town had replacement buckets?
- there is a fan behind an expanded metal mesh shroud (round) that looked to serve the a/c condenser perhaps. It sorta looks stock and sorta doesn't. It's on the passenger side of the 2 big openings through the rad support. Factory?
- beside this fan, on the driver side of the 2 big openings in the rad support is a stacked-plate cooler of some kind, either oil or trans fluid. Would this also be stock?
