Can any one tell me what sensor this is i think it is the water temp but i am not sure

LOL. I was gonna say that's not a sensor, it's a stud. Then I scrolled over. Yep, water temp sender.

lol i kind of did the same thing. i was like what sensor
but there are a couple different types of temp sender units that one "1" pin and one for a pig tail "2" pin
but if you go to autozone not sure about advace they will sell you the one i pictured it should come with the pigtail to sire it into your "1" pin

don't confuse sensors with sending units..... Typically a sending unit relays direct information to the instrument panel cluster where as sensors relay information to the computer to process. Example:
Coolant temp sensor is used for fuel calibration primarily in open loop.
coolant temp sending unit is used only for the gauge.
