Whats a good spray-on frame protector?

My frame is in pretty good shape, but there is some spots where the original coating is wearing off and surface rust is making an appearance.  Anyone have a suggestion for simple spray-can type frame coating/protector?

Duplicolor makes a rattle can called "Bed Armor" or "Truck Bed Coating". It's the same stuff just 2 different names. If you find a can with "truck bed coating" it's just the older style label. Stuff works pretty freakin good. Used it to coat my front frame when I put a new engine in. Looks killer. You can get it at any auto parts store. Probably Lowes and Home Depot or Orcharch Supply too.

Is the frame undercoated?

I believe the frame was originally undercoated as well as the previous owner would coat it with his used oil.  It's in great shape, just has a couple spots that are starting to show some surface rust.  I want to catch it before it turns into more than that

Don't use anything other than undercoating or body shutz at this point unless you intend to strip the frame.

     As Vile said, unless you are going to prep an area right, spraying something over the "spots" will only give you or someone else surprises down the road.

Little surface spots like that are what I'm talking about.  Would a good session with a wire brush drill bit attachment be prep enough, or would a little angle grinder session be more appropriate?

Use a needle scaler some safety glasses and ear protection. Knock the loose stuff off and use body shutz or undercoating. Don't invest in a frame paint unless you're going to do it right which means stripping it down bare.
