Caulk for under dash area
« on: December 26, 2016, 03:29:14 pm »
Hey all...

The worst rust in the cab was behind the AC, the rest was surface rust here and there. Going to go with POR15. Of course will scrape and clean all of the loose rust off. Was going to use some Lexel Caulk in various areas of the cab. However the seem running under the AC area there where the rust is and all along that will the caulk need to be more heat resistant?

Thanks much in advance!

Seam Sealer but remove the rust first, prime and paint.

Not familiar with lexel , but automotive seam sealer is supposed to be resistant to certain chemicals and heat.
