i was wondering if anyone knows the stock size and length of the u bolts for the rear mount

My 76 uses 5/8 thread by 12 1/2 in square "U" Bolts not sure if they are the same..

the length is determined by the spring leaf count.

Mine are 2 1/2 almost 2 9/16 inches just measure the width of the spring..

Just contact a spring shop n get em made. MOST places already know the answer to your question. I just got some made for my truck, all they needed to know were what the truck was, but i made sure I told em how long I wanted them, and the spring width. The actuall bolt diameter for what they made were same as factory. It was 20 bucks a piece, but worth every penny.

Leaf spring width (2 1/2"- 2 9/16") by your actual length needed for your spring pack and plates then add a couple inches for possible future add ons. You can get any size you want/need.
