Rancid exhaust!

What is the deal with my exhaust smelling soooo bad??? It will burn your eyes, and stay on your clothes! It is just NASTY! I have a new O2 sensor, no cat..... I thought ol worn out cats made em smell this bad? I have cleaned the TBI, intake, valves, put additive in the fuel.........

a lil black from some oil burn. Motor needs a rebuild, the rings are starting to get weak.

Yeah, that's my truck too. I have no emissions equip at all though, hotter cam and heads, headers, true duals and a questionably-working Edelbrock 650 carb. I can smell the exhaust fumes the next morning washing out of my hair in the shower if I've run my truck at all the day before. I should check my plugs. Probably a little on the dark side.

Well if you are running too rich you will know it. Try tuning it up and recalibrate the carburetor

My exhaust is much better now. Made a big booboo the other day envolving hydrolocking the motor on gasoline..............  Thats a story by itself. And the LAST time I go to town without taking the fuel cap off, with my throttle body torn apart!

So anyway, I pulled the plugs, and they were NASTY! All sorts of carbon. Cleaned em up, now the tail pipe smells alright.
