Rancid exhaust!

What is the deal with my exhaust smelling soooo bad??? It will burn your eyes, and stay on your clothes! It is just NASTY! I have a new O2 sensor, no cat..... I thought ol worn out cats made em smell this bad? I have cleaned the TBI, intake, valves, put additive in the fuel.........

a lil black from some oil burn. Motor needs a rebuild, the rings are starting to get weak.

Yeah, that's my truck too. I have no emissions equip at all though, hotter cam and heads, headers, true duals and a questionably-working Edelbrock 650 carb. I can smell the exhaust fumes the next morning washing out of my hair in the shower if I've run my truck at all the day before. I should check my plugs. Probably a little on the dark side.
85 Chevy Silverado C10 short, wide, yellow, 2wd. Lowered, 60-over 350 with Dart Iron Eagle heads and Comp Cams XE268 cam, TH350 w/ shift kit, 3.40 Gov-lok 12 bolt.

Well if you are running too rich you will know it. Try tuning it up and recalibrate the carburetor

My exhaust is much better now. Made a big booboo the other day envolving hydrolocking the motor on gasoline..............  :o Thats a story by itself. And the LAST time I go to town without taking the fuel cap off, with my throttle body torn apart!

So anyway, I pulled the plugs, and they were NASTY! All sorts of carbon. Cleaned em up, now the tail pipe smells alright.
