I made no modifications to the arms themselves.

Just ordered my heim kit and frame notches from Suicide Doors. Going to pick up a rack and pinion in the next day or so and order my steering U-joints.

Food for thought,The back window on the burbs are curved.they don't work for a one piece front unless it's chopped. You can get them cheap at a u-pull-it and then have it cut down.

Remanufactured unit from ATSCO. Autozone carries them and I am using P/N 6406. Without a core it will cost me about $110 for a power unit. If you have a core they are around $85

for a 1pc front window. Take the long window from a burb.It has the same shape ,but it is not as tall as the door glass.if the chop is 3" the glass has the same slight curve that you need. Then make a pattern for the front and have the long window cut to fit.buy the way love all the work you have done on your truck, and doing it all outside. You have some talent

Wouldn't those be tempered though? Maybe since they are so large they are laminate??

now why are you using that rack? is it a better fit on our trucks? i was looking into a rack and pinion but could seem to figure out a way to mount it without at least 4 joints, kinda seemed screwey to me

With the frame Z'd and my upper control arms moved up there is no way to make the stock steering work. I am hoping I can get by with 2 u-joints but may need 3.
