Is this just a edelbrock performer air gap with the badges removed? Im thinking about buying it, thanks.

Pretty much but why not get the polished 52027 http://www.fastengineparts.com/products_view.php?id=1360

You'll also need a bypass hose for your waterpump. I found that carquest /gates hose number 19035 fit perfect with a little trimming.
