One Piece Door Panels
« on: December 12, 2008, 11:39:34 pm »
I was thinking about getting some one piece door panels from Roddoors they are $250.  Before I spend that kind of money I was wondering if any of yall have seen them in person and how did they look.

Thanks for that link those look great too and really the price isnt that bad.  Because the stock replacement panels with all the trim is about as high.

Can't tell from that one picture, but if those cover all the way to the bottom, they're goin to jam the door weatherstripping making the door hard to shut....

Nice work on those door panels.  I love to see what can be done to these trucks.

Even if the panels do go extend that far, they can be easily trimmed or filed to help with any clearance issues....  TV's Panels were covered by him, and he modified them to the way that he wanted, including trimmed to corrected any issues with fitting beforehand....

I think the ones in TVBlazers looks better than the ones on Roddoors website. I guess it is the way they have them covered, makes them look like different panels.

I guess they look different from the ones pictured on the Roddoors.com site cause of the lower different toned part in TV Blazer's pic.

Question:  What model door handle did TV Blazer use on that panel.  Doesn't look like our stock ones?

Must have on my list too.

I belive they are the stock door handles from a 77-80. I think his blazer is a 78. I like these handles better than the 81-87. I wonder if the 77-80 handles can be used in the 81-87?
