Changing your intake would be a better thought, but if you use the center bolt heads, you will have to change your intake. The non vortec center bolt heads have the 4 center bolts that are up and down, and not at so much of an angle, which would mean that you would have to elongate the 4 center holes on your intake for it to bolt on. The bad part, is that the ends will have very little material left. If you have an aluminum intake, be prepped for a possible edge snapping off. If you want to keep the same style heads on and don't want to have them dealt with at a machine shop, then look for the Camaro heads, 1986 model year is a definite. Yielded 9.5:1 compression, I do believe that they are a 64cc chamber head. Either way, you are spending money. Intake and carb sizing is the first of my concerns however, then the heads.
