Heads On an 86 goodwrench replacement engine

Does anyone have any idea what heads are on the GMGW replacement engines for 86 only(RPO LS9)? I have searched high and low, and can`t find any info!

I would think they are the same smog-era heads found on the standard Goodwrench.

ok...i popped the valve covers, and the number does not appear to have been cast very well, but i believe i see 14071114.
I was just given a set of brand new 193 swirl port heads, and was wondering if these are any better than the heads i currently have on the engine.
 The truck, an 86 K10 Sub, currently has engine P/N 12568759, under a 91/92 TPI conversion, 700R4 Raptor, and 3.42 gears. Dual 2.5 exhaust w/2 high flow converters, with a flowmaster 2.5 to 3 y pipe to 3" single exhaust, with 3" magnaflow muffler.
Have not had the chip tuned to the truck, but Fuel Inj> specialties in Austin sent me a chip that they supposedly "custom burned for my app( I have a spare chip to send out at some point, I want to get my head/cam setup installed before I do)
 I`m not looking  to make gobbs of power, but I do tow on occasion, and would like to bring it up a step or 2,would like to stay away from vortec heads( I know they are considered the best by many)as I dont want to change the Intake, and plumb the external EGR. Any cam suggestions would be appreciated as well.
Its primarily a camping trip people hauler.

Those heads sound like 80's truck heads. 193's will use center bolt valve covers and are better than the heads you have.

Changing your intake would be a better thought, but if you use the center bolt heads, you will have to change your intake.  The non vortec center bolt heads have the 4 center bolts that are up and down, and not at so much of an angle, which would mean that you would have to elongate the 4 center holes on your intake for it to bolt on.  The bad part, is that the ends will have very little material left.  If you have an aluminum intake, be prepped for a possible edge snapping off.  If you want to keep the same style heads on and don't want to have them dealt with at a machine shop, then look for the Camaro heads, 1986 model year is a definite.  Yielded 9.5:1 compression,  I do believe that they are a 64cc chamber head.  Either way, you are spending money.  Intake and carb sizing is the first of my concerns however, then the heads.

my brother has a camaro with a GMPP crate 350 that has 369 heads which are Hecco de mexico (made in mexico)..   just fyi, the gmpp long blocks usually have mexican crafted heads that are worse than 882 casting heads.

 The manifold really is not an issue for me, as I have had to do the center intake bolt modification before. I just don`t want to deal with the extra $475 for the base TPI manifold for the Vortec heads, and running the external EGR. I am currently considering World S/R torquers, If I can`t find the 86 L98 heads that you mention. I did get these 193 heads for free, and I understand that they would be a step up from what I currently have.
If I can get an increase in torque and keep it lower in the power band, I will be satisfied.
