LOWER CONTROL ARMS --- VS. --- DROP SPRINDLES

I plan on installing air suspension in the near future to my truck.

My question is  what would be a better choice and why if I install  3'' lower control arms    or    if i install 3''drop spindles.

I would suggest the spindles even though to run the factorys you have to modify the LCA's. They will keep you're truck in alignment. The LCA's are as bad as the lowering coil springs from what I've seen with keeping you're truck in alignment.

they are both good.  I have both on current vehicles.  I haven't had alignment problems with either.  Generally LCA's only go down 2.5" where spindles can be had at 3".

is it true?   i have heard that with spindles your front tires are further out . ???

Spindles will increase the track width by about .25" per side, but if you have custom wheels with custom backspacing it isn't going to matter.

I just re-read your post and if I were going airbags, I would do the spindles.  Someone posted that CPP's spindles don't modify the track width.

Drop spindles are definately the way to go.  Better geometry and suspension travel. 

It's true about most drop spindles widening your track.  I've seen some that push you out as much as 3/4" on each side.  I just put a set of the CPP spindles on my '75 and it narrowed my track width.  I can finally make a u-turn.

i contacted these guys fromm cpp but if i go the cpp route ..... i would need to replace to 1.25" rotors and calipers because i have 1" in place right now
