76 bed ?

will a 86 bed fit a 76 truck , I think the fuel door is on the left on a 86 but on the right on 76. (short bed)

found a 86 at a good price.

 It will fit, just have to switch your fuel tank to the other side.

if you dont care about body lines it shuld fit but it could b a neat combo

There is no difference in body lines. There are very subtle differences. Do it up

Yes...Your sentence shouldn't start with "if".  ;) There is minor differences in gas fillers (round/square & Left/Right) & minor differences in the tailgate (round bottom/lip & lettering) & tailgate mounting, but other than that, they are all the same. Lorne

There are also differences in the mounting holes to the frame.  The second set aren't in the same place.
