Some stuff I have done the last several weeks.
Turned this pile of tubing into a custom size cord wood rack.
It was Ford Super Duty day a few days this week too!!!

Another little project I did a few weeks back. Pressure washed the heck out of it, reweld five of the welds that hold the tank to the subframe, needle scaled all the rust, sanded the old paint, Chassis Saver over the tightly adhered rust, self etch prime clean bare metal, brush, and roll on an acrylic enamel.
Had to put a new harmonic balancer in this. 2,100 miles and it gave it up? You would have thought it would have lasted better then that!

It ran fine, just couldn't time it. The outer ring slipped. Its 34 years old, I was 5 when they bought it new. I remember it being brand new.

I was gonna say the grille look a little more "aerodynamic" than my '72 1/2 ton I had years ago.
You have some cool projects come in that shop.

This was a side job I did while I was laid off this past month. Some others are of restoring tractors. I can't take a camera with me to my normal job and I can't ever remember to bring a camera with me when I'm out working on broken farm equipment or doing welding projects.
I did this 806 International 4 hours from home where my Girlfriend is in college. I stayed with her and worked in a guys shop. I did all of this with tools that were in my truck and trailer. It was a big job and my first time doing it. I had no help and only a service manual. Its all done and works great though. It needed a new T/A, clutch, rear main seals, two new hydraulic pumps, new bearings and seals, and I rebuilt the PTO.

Sweet, they look great. I would like to do another tractor. The A I did a few years back was my first one.

Here was what I was doing the last couple of days. I helped a coworker harvest soybeans. Then yesterday afternoon I got a call about a broken axle on a combine, so I went and did that.

Nice welds. Looks like you added some beef to the top of the axle!
