Anyone know how to change a IMG video file to a WVM file??

I`m trying to change a video from  IMG to a WVM and cant find a good way to shrink the video size to make it you tube size.Can anyone reccomend a downloadable file to help this newbie out on posting videos on the internet?

I am not sure if a WMV file is the one you want to convert too.

Do a bit of googling to find out exactly what u need to do.

Is the actual format .img?

Why is the video saved as an image? Do you mean WMV?

WMV is Window Media Format

Ok guys,
this is what i`m trying to load up but am having a problem with

C:\Documents and Settings\Pat\My Documents\My Videos\IMGP0367.AVI

If you copy and paste it to the web address it will work but if a active X control comes up you allow it it`ll be fine i`m not a expert to hack inot anyones computer if you want to see it this is what i`m tryingto load.I know its over 10 minutes long but tihs is the problem i`m having trying to make a wmv file .

You need an AVI converter.  Are you wanting to put in on Youtube?

You have a DVD burner?

What I usually do is take a camcorder plug the RCA jacks into our DVR burn it to a Dvd (can not remember the extension on the file type ) but its the largest file on the dvd than copy that (on your pc) and paste it into Windows Movie Maker you can edit it than save it, that can be uploaded to You Tube.

Note one thing I found with this is if the file is 500 megs it wont work if it is over 1 gigabyte it will not sure why that is
