of course i mean nobody here, you all seem extremely knowledgable. i was reading the auto forums on craigslist and i mean the people there, most of them are just rude mean and nasty, people ask about legetimate concerns and just get torn apart. im just glad i have never posted anything there. not everybody is 100% perfect and know everything about every car so a simple question about fuel gauge stops working and next thing you know the guy is getting torn up. im just glad i can come here and get some excellent help being not the most smartest at least i wont get ruined.

I just went and read a couple of discussion... I guess I didn't realize those discussions were on CL. You are definitely not going to get that here. I have been a part of this forum for a while now and haven't seen it on this site. They all go out of their way to help.

This is a great site, I like not having to deal with crap like that. There's only a handful of forums on the web that I know of that don't run me off by having people like that on there. heck a lot of discussions have the jerks as the group leader, go figure. That's why i subscribed to this site, I got a heck of a lot of help when I needed it, and it's a pleasant place to be.

I agree with all of you, this site is the best....
I'm no mechanic, I know somethings but I'm no expert, so I have posted some things that to other people may seem STUPID and i don't get thrashed, no rude members, everybody haves something helpfull to say. I take my hat of to you guys and applaud.

Yeah i bet you will get banned here if you do that. Some forums you can say whatever you want whenever you want (such as DFWstangs) and it is really hard not to get into a big argument there when you just come in to ask a simple question and every nerd with nerd rage starts calling you all manner of names just for asking. Although, sometimes it can be entertaining lol
