I have a 85 silverado SWB. Ive had this truck for several years and never had any problems with the front end till about 6 months ago. I recently replaced front brakes with new rotors from A/C delco. My wheel bearings were in good shape,so just repacked them. About two weeks later my brakes were squeaking badly. Taking off the front wheels to get to the brakes,I noticed the wheel was loose at the bearing. I took apart, inspected it and reassembled everything. This happens every 3 to 4 weeks still! The bearing loosens up and glazes the pads. Ive been told the aftermarket spindles dont fit right and to get them off there, but I never had this problem till replacing the rotors. Anyone run into this?
