Dark or Ice ? .. Your Suggestion Plz

Hey guys ...

I really need your input on this one ...'coz U R the right ppl to ask

I plan on rebuilding my 82' stepside ...

As for any of U, painting is the biggest issue ..
The truck color is what I call "Nothin' Special Dark Blue"  

I am stuck between two colors ( got them from 2008 Ford Colors )

1- Dark Blue Pearl  # M7083A
2- Ice Blue Metallic

which one should I go for ?

Any suggestions on matching interior colors would be appreciated

Ice Blue Metallic also called Blue Ice and Silver Blue by Dupont. The color has a very fine metallic component but will change color .

I am not sure I like the metallic Ice Blue.  But I see so many of the Dark Blue Pearl as well.  Just my opinion.  But of the two I would go with the Dark Blue Pearl.

I agree w/U about the Dark Blue.

Any other shades of blue that U may suggest ? ... I do have my blazer which is Blue Metallic & I dont wanna repeat the color on this truck

I love GM Indigo Blue like on my wifes truck, but I also live in the desert, and with temps getting over 110 in the summer, the Ice Metallic would be more forgiving. Depends on your preference. I will stay with the dark vehicles, and tuff it out. Heres her truck. Hopefully you can see the color. It gets bright blue in the direct light, and almost looks blakc from a distance. The flames on the truck are a custom color, so I dont even know what to call it.

Personally I like the dark blue better. The light blue on the Blazer looks good with the white top. But if you don't want two blue trucks, what about white for the stepside with maybe a dark blue roof to break it up. Or even just solid white.

Don't have to ask me how much of a pain it is to pick a color. But I kinda like that lite blue. i don't know if it will look good with all the chrome on. I know that with the dark blue looks good with the chrome on.My truck will be together I  post up a pic

I think yoiu might like the newer gm blue.... I cant remember now what the code is but i will let you know on monday.... its the only factory "cameleon" paint.  It its a dark blue/green and in some light it has a shade of copper and some purple... It would look great on your stepside... check it out.
  but if i had the pick of the colors you posted, then i would pick the light blue just  because its different.

Heat + Humidity is what drives me crazy down here & thats why I'm looking for a lighter blue ..
What do U think ICE BLUE needs more chrome or more euro looks ?
