How new?  GM went to a 6 lug pattern starting in 1999...

I have a 1983 and looking at a set of rims off a 1998 but would like to see any pictures with newer oem rims

There is definitely a member here running 15" alloy rims from a 96-98.  Comb through the member rides section.

Anything newer than 1999 will have a 6 lug setup, so they won't work.

I think the newer 99 up wheels will fit IF you have 4 wheel drive 6 lug. ???

True, but it's newer than 1987.  He didn't specify how new.  When anyone says "newer" or "later" in reference to our trucks I assume anything 88-up is fair game.

thats what i was referring to and didn't mean for it to be directed to you

Doesnt work, I've tried it on my K10.
