Coys quote.... To buy or not to buy

Alright guys. I'm ready to buy some wheels for my truck.

Here's what I got quoted for Chrome C-5's.

Rear: 20 X 10  / Tires: 295/40/20
Front: 18 X 8  /  Tires: 255/45/18

Wheels alone are $1,350.00
W/ Tires $ 2,250.00

So I'm paying like $900.00 for the tires. Can I do better by myself on tires? Or should I pull the trigger?

Did you get your quote from Coys or another distributor? I got a quote from Coys on 20x8 and 22x9 grey center C-5s for $1900 with tires. I think you can do better on tires.

Thats from Coys themself.

Total $2,250.00 for the wheels and tires delivered.

Get the wheels from coys and then go on tirerack.com and get the tires there.

Thats strange they quoted me $1900 shipped to my door with tires, that was only a month ago. Mabye yours is more because they are chrome.

Yeah the chrome is more than the polished or greys....  :-\

Well... I pulled the trigger. I got them down to @2,200.00... The tires really only came out to $750 (Toyo's)... The wheels $1,350 and then shipping was $150....

I didnt realize he had shipping in there...

Nonetheless... I got him down to $2,200.00 total. They'll be here in 7-10 days. Pics to follow as soon as I get them mounted. ;D

Well, Saturday 3 of my four wheels arrived and a small box with my lugs....

I called fedex to find out where my fourth wheel is and they show that Coy's hasn't shipped it yet. I left them a voicemail Saturday....

Guess I'll call them again today.

I talked to them Monday and the fourth was supposed to ship Tuesday. The three I have are... GORGEOUS!

I'll call them now and see if it shipped.

I can't wait to get them on... I'll def post some pics.

So.. My last 20 X 10 was supposed to ship on Tuesday.... I emailed them yesterday for the AWB... It didn't ship. He hopes to ship it today or Monday at the latest and has promised to get it to me by next Wednesday either way.

We shall see....
