"sloshing" sound from heater

I just installed a new motor in my 82 swb 2wd. It also has a new heater core. In my first couple test trips, I noted a "sloshing" sound coming from the heater. I did a quick Google search...and it would appear that low coolant level can cause this sound. Is that right? Anyone else ever have this issue?

Sure, check the level in the radiator. Make sure the heater hoses don't sag excessively.

like vile said, also air in the core will cause this problem nothing hard to fix

If you can.. lift the front end up a bit.. easier for the air to escape then run the truck with heat on full blast the air should escape and you can top off the fluid too.

fixed. ran a while with the cap off...made sure the fluid was near full. thanks guys
