frame shame!!!

so my old frame on my 84 swb 1/2 ton is about to fold in half, i have the new frame and tore into the truck but just for good measure does any one have any good tips on anything that bolted to a 73-87 to make my day just that little bit easyer......

more or less tips and tricks on pulling stuff apart and putting it back together, ex: "i find its easer to put a cab back on by doing this........"  just stuff you guys have picked up in the days of working on a 73-87 to make my frame swap a little easyer.

Lot's of things. Probably better to ask specific questions when you run into hurdles though. It's better to learn that way and makes it your own experience.

Any chance You have access to a lift? If you do you can lift the cab with the nose still on it. Just run some 2"x4"s under the rockers and lift them with the arms of the lift. Another thing that comes to mind is to drill some holes in the floor to gain access to the body mount bolts. Spray them down with penetrating oil and heat them with a torch if you have to, It's a pain if you break them off.

dang to late for that all 4 cab mounting bolts broke, how would you go about getting those out????

If you look under the "Body" section on this forum there are some good answers under a  thread titled Body Mount Problems. 
Vile and others pretty much walk you through the procedure to fix it. Good luck.
