Fulltop Blazer with full Doors
« on: March 31, 2009, 06:41:09 pm »
Ok, over the past month I have acquired enough parts to convert both of my K5's to fulltops.  Question is, I am contemplating making them fulldoor versions (like a Jeep with fulldoor)
I have a spare set of doors that are junk that I am going to cut down for the partial doors, but I am not going to cut the fulls yet.

Ignoring the fact that this is a photoshopped model, what do you think?

Ehh... I like th half doors on the full top that's what makes them unique. I thought about it too once upon a time.

i like it with the full doors, but seems there should be a roll bar or something where the top back of the doors are.

I agree. The full doors would probably look a lot better with a roll bar. Why do you want the full doors anyway? Are you not planning on running a top or are you thinking about cuttin' on the full vert top?

It will have a rollcage in it.  I am thinking of either A) hacking the fulltop I have (and the halftop) or one other possibility which I need to find more info on.

It would probably look silly from behind too with full doors but hey experiment and see!

I don't like the looks of the full doors personally. Its kinda like having a convertable top down with the windows up. I always think that looks silly.

Better late than never. Definitely sealed the deal for me. NO to full doors.
