that's pretty much all you have to do,   check your brake lines and make sure they won't get over-extended, check your vent lines, enjoy your new lift!

Check and see if the block is tapered. One the larger blocks, one end is thinnner than the other for pinion adjustment. I dont know about the two in blocks. The smaller end is the front of the block and goes toward the front of the truck.

You need new u-bolts, not different blocks.

ya i know...but buying just the u-bolts is probably almost as expensive as a kit with the blocks

I got a 1.5 block kit for my 14 bolt from superlift.  I think it was $70 or so for the kit of Cast Iron Blocks and u-bolts.  Looked like good quality stuff.  2 inchers should be around the same price.

i might wait a little while but i wanted to put coil spacers because if i put the 1ton coils itll be an even rougher ride (its a rough enough ride as it is)....any suggestions on what i should do?

I've heard of the spacers working them self loose, haven't seen it but I've heard of it, the 1 ton springs well that will be a fun ride. i would save up for the lifted coils i don't know were to get them from but they have to be made but then your still looking at a rough ride so you might as well go for the 1 ton. those ubolts should be good take your old ones to the zone match them up make sure they will fit and get them
