Noob electrical stuff

As i have stated in the past, im not very experienced with the more difficult electrical stuff, and as such i would like to ask this.

Where is the weak link in the chain, when it comes to these truck's electrical systems? Or is there one? I am wanting to get some things for my truck (eventually) that will be taxing it pretty hard. I would like to have a good quality sound system with a couple 10 inch subwolfers. I would also like a big bad MSD ignition system. Not just the little red box but the whole works. Also, there is a device that i would like to hook up that will constantly draw 18-20 amps. Though i don't know if i will be keeping it. It occurs to me that the electrical system on the truck was probly not built for all that. I know the usual steps are to buy a high amp alternator, and maybe like an Optima battery. But given what i have listed, is there anything else that you can think of that might fail?

Maybe A capacitor or something like that that will hold a charge for when your subs hit so your battery wont take a full hit from the draw of everything

New battery cables, a healthy battery and a 100 amp alt is a good idea.

Aww man i forgot to add an electric fan as well. Oh well, you get the idea. A whole lot of electrical stuff that wasnt there from the factory lol. But thanks for the replies!

If you have extras, then run your own new circuits for them.

x2 on that one you don't want to overload the fuse panel, maybe putting in switches also instead of using the key cylinder or panel
