Welcome to the site.  The easiest would be to find a set from a Suburban.  Make sure you get the inside front seat perches.

Best plan would be an aftermarket seat.

I asked this question before. If i remember right, i think we came to the conclusion that you will be needing suburban seats (from the same year model, preferably) but the brackets from a blazer. That's the metal brackets that secure the seat to the floor. Again, preferably same year. Though it may not matter. Cant remember that part. Trying to find a truck that had factory buckets will be a lost cause. They were few and far between so the mix and match idea is the best way to go. If you dont have a million bucks for a set of aftermarket's, that is. And who knows how well those aftermarkets even fit. They are a "one size fits all" type of deal that is made to work in more than one type of vehicle. Just my opinion.  :)

You need the buckets and tracks from a Suburban along with the front inner support that is welded to the frame.  IF you want year correct seats, you need to get them from the same year Blazer as the truck you want.

If it's a budget build reupholstering the bench seat is the cheapest way out.

For buckets, pretty much any seats will wor as long as you fabricate a bracket.

For the best look and comfort you can't beat the qualitex seats.

I have this one in cloth in my 85 http://www.qualitex.com/seatstruckersPRESTIGE.html

And they don't make the one in my 74 anymore but that seat is sweet too.

Hey vile would you mind posting me a couple pics of those seats, installed in the truck? Specifically where they sit (when set to all the way back) against the back of the cab as well as how close they are to the sides.

New carpet sure goes a lon way towards improving the looks, huh. Anyway how do you like those seats? And does the center console fold up to become a third seat, with seatbelt?

yep the console flips up and down and is a seat. There is also storage under the seat. You use your factory belts

Did they come with the typical qualtex price tag? Also did they come with proper mounting hardware?

The mounting frame is specific to the truck. Chris said he can get you pricing on Qualitex.

And that means that the seat came with it, right? You didn't have to come up with anything your self, at all?
