so i just got done putting on the rest of my parts: 2 inch drop springs, 3 inch drop spindles; lower the truck down and i got about an inch of tire tucked in the fenders. 255/70r15. the slightest bump in the road and the tire rubs in inside fender well, and the sidewall rubs on the fender lip. So, to correct this do i need lower profile tire, or a different wheel to pull the tires in, or a combination of both? I will get some pics up later.

Your running 10 inch wide tires.  How wide is you wheel?  I think you need a 265/75 R15 on an 8 inch wheel.  That would keep you the same overall tire height.

You need lower profile tires and an alignment!

This is how you measure a tire. Example a 275/60R15

275mm wide,

60 series is the height of the sidewall. 60 % of 275 = 165mm

R= radial

15" rim

You select the best fit by looking at your truck and a tape measure or ruler. Don't forget to measure top and bottom of the tire lol

thanks guys for the help. so, if i just get a smaller profile tire i should be ok? I have a 70 series tire now, and if i go with a like 50 series tire should that be enough?

You need to find the height that will work, I wouldn't put 50 series tires on there.  Just measure and see how much height difference you need.

255/50-15  =  25" tall   -->  ((255/25.4)*.50*2)+15 = 25

255/60-15  =  27" tall

275/60-15  =  28" tall
